Ready to be walking in a winter wonderland? Holidays at the Garden is back and more exciting then ever! This beloved annual exhibit brings thousands of twinkling lights to life, immersed in the beautiful, natural landscapes of Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. From creating a magical date night to treasured family fun to an unforgettable night out with friends, Holidays at the Garden offers something for everyone. We’re here to break it down for you and help you plan your ultimate night of merry fun!

What is Holidays at the Garden and When is it Open?

Holidays at the Garden is a yearly holiday light exhibit at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden that begins at the end of November and runs through the end of December. This year, Holidays at the Garden kicks off on Friday, November 29 and runs through Sunday, December 29 from 5-10 p.m. daily (closed Mondays).

Sparkling lights cover trees, bushes, plants, and more, transforming DSBG into a wondrous holiday world. Constructing these intricate exhibits is a labor of love. Our dedicated Horticulture team has been hard at work preparing for Holidays at the Garden for months.

“The monumental task of installing our holiday lights actually began in August, believe it or not,” says Jason Bonham, Director of Horticulture at DSBG. “Both plants and light displays are all designed in house by our talented team of horticulturists.”

The Horticulture team’s hard work pays off: visitors travel far and wide to experience the magic of Holidays at the Garden. The light displays are awe-inspiring enough on their own to invoke a visit, but the thrill is just getting started as you take in the Garden’s gleaming beauty.
