Join us Saturday, April 22 for a Composting Chat and Nature Art for children or visit on Sunday, April 23 to learn all about honeybees and Eastern bluebirds…

There will be crafts for kids. Stay for the afternoon and enjoy lunch from the food truck.


Learn about the Birds and the Bees

Introduction to Bee Keeping -Orchid Conservatory Classroom – 11a.m.-1p.m. – $30 class fee.

Learn what it takes to be a hobbyist beekeeper! This class will be taught by Marty Gutowski, a professional beekeeper and he will give you a broad introduction, including how to select hive locations and equipment necessary to start and maintain a honeybee colony and manage the hive throughout the season.
