Fall Break Kids Camp
Oct 9 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Experience the wonders of fall at the DSBG Fall Break Camp! Our camp is designed for children in 1st grade through 5th grade and promises a week filled with educational adventures and outdoor fun.
Each day, from 9 AM to 3 PM, we’ll embark on a journey of discovery. The mornings are dedicated to fall-specific education. Campers will delve into the fascinating lifecycle of leaves in the fall, explore animal habitats, and learn about how creatures prepare for winter. We’ll also dive into everything pumpkin, and who knows, we might even try some pumpkin chuckin’!
In the afternoons, the real fun begins with outdoor recreational activities that reinforce our morning lessons. Campers will have hands-on experiences, create crafts, and venture through the garden’s scenic trails. Foraging adventures await, and each camper might get the chance to craft a team scarecrow for Scarecrow Hollow, an enchanting part of The Garden’s fall exhibit.
To add to the excitement, every camper receives one free entry to the Garden on Friday, October 13th. It’s a wonderful opportunity to explore our beautiful garden and share the magic with family and friends.
Participants should come prepared with a refillable water bottle and a packed lunch for every day except Friday. On Friday, we’ll cap off our fantastic week with pizza for everyone.
