Have you ever felt relaxed while listening to chirping birds, feeling sunshine on your face, or inhaling the earthy aroma after a rainstorm?

Spending time in nature can positively influence our physiological and psychological systems. Join us for a series of relaxing morning strolls through the garden and wooded trail as we take time to pay attention and experience the nature around us. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, participants will be invited to slow down and connect with nature through our senses. This will be a slow paced walk, but be prepared to walk up to a mile. Bring a water bottle and a towel to sit on if you’d like.

Materials: blank journals, pens
