Photographing Hummingbirds

Photograph hummingbirds in flight or hovering near flowers and feeders as you learn techniques that will improve your ability to capture these small, fast-moving jewels through your camera lens.

The participants need to have a flash for their camera. They can use the built-in popup flash on the camera, but an optional flash that fits on the camera’s hot shoe is better. Also, a tripod is optional. They entire process of freezing the hummingbird’s wings depends on the flash.
