Zoom & Bloom 5k & Kids Run: March 29, 2025

5k participants will run quick like rabbits through the lush green of early spring blooms on our stellar trail system with lakefront views and the most picturesque start and finish line around. Kids will go all out for a quarter mile sprint around a new 8-foot-wide crushed concrete loop around our ponds. The entire loop is visible from our Trailhead Store so parents can give their kids the freedom to run and cheer them on the entire time! Save the Date: Summer Nights 5k & 1 Miler: July 25, 2025

Don’t let the dog days get you down! When it gets a little warm in the Carolinas we play after the sun goes down! Come hang out at dusk for our  Summer Nights 5K! The setting sun paired with the shade of our trails will make for the “coolest” race you can do around here in mid-July!

Save the Date: Jeepers Creepers 5k and 10k Trail Race: October 4, 2025

Dress up in your spookiest, kookiest or most creative costumer at our Jeepers Creepers 5k and 10k! Bust out those Halloween costumes early, sweat a little bit and have a great time! Explore the garden’s scenic trails surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Jeepers Creepers also holds the title of longest race held on DSBG property with the 10k option. It’s a spooktacular race experience you won’t want to miss.

Light up the night at our Bright Lights 5k and Fun Run! Run or walk through illuminated pathways and dazzling displays of holiday lights as you are among the first to journey through the garden after dark and witness the 2025 Holidays at the Garden display. It’s a festive and family-friendly event that will leave you feeling energized and inspired for the holiday season!
