Join us for an enchanting journey into the world of butterflies at our Butterfly Bungalow, included with general admission to the Garden – no additional fee is required.

Step into a realm of fluttering wings and vibrant colors as you explore the Butterfly Bungalow. Watch butterflies emerge from chrysalides, search for hungry caterpillars among the leaves, feed a butterfly on a feeding sponge and more! Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn about and interact with the butterflies you may find in your own backyard.

Butterfly Bungalow Hours: Tuesday-Sunday from May 25 to October 6, from 10am – 3pm daily (weather permitting, including Memorial Day). Please note, the Butterfly Bungalow closes promptly at 3:00pm, with doors locked thereafter.

Extended Season: The Butterfly Bungalow will remain open until Sunday, October 6th, offering extended opportunities for garden guests and school field trips to enjoy this popular educational exhibit.

Important Information:

• Capacity Limit: To ensure a comfortable experience for all, the Butterfly Bungalow has a maximum capacity of approximately 25 people at a time.
• Accessibility: Wheelchairs and walkers are welcome. However, please note that strollers are not permitted inside the Bungalow due to narrow pathways and the need to watch for butterflies on the ground.
• Guidelines: To preserve the beauty of our butterfly habitat, we kindly ask guests to refrain from catching or holding the butterflies. Please help prevent escapes by ensuring doors are closed securely as you enter and leave the Bungalow.
• Safety Reminder: Watch your step as butterflies will land on the ground.
• Curiosity Welcome: Feel free to ask questions and enjoy your time exploring the Butterfly Bungalow.
