Join us for an unforgettable evening of owl exploration at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s “Owl Overload” event!

Our friends from the Carolina Raptor Center will lead us on a twilight adventure to uncover the secrets of our local owl population. We will meet at The Trailhead Store and begin our walk from there!

Event Highlights:

  • Guided Owl Walk: Set out on a captivating stroll through the Garden’s grounds with expert guides from the Carolina Raptor Center. Listen closely as we attempt to hear and identify the various owl species that call our property home.
  • Campfire and S’mores: After our owl expedition, gather around the firepit at the Trailhead Store for a cozy fireside chat. Toast marshmallows and indulge in delicious s’mores as we share stories and insights about our nocturnal discoveries.
  • Trailhead Store Amenities: The Trailhead Store will remain open throughout the event, offering a selection of snacks, coffee, beer, and wine for purchase. Fuel up before the walk or grab a warm beverage to enjoy by the fire.
