Join us on Sunday, May 12, as we honor mothers amidst the breathtaking scenery of our garden.

As an exclusive Member Benefit, we are giving away a free plant* to the first 500 mothers who are Garden Members that walk through the door! These small botanical treasures are our way of showing appreciation for the nurturing love and care that mothers provide, not only to their families, but as a part of our Garden Community. Take a break from your stroll and indulge in delicious treats from Little Taste of Chicago, Nacho Business, and Junior’s Scoops as they are offering a delectable array of snacks and refreshments available for purchase. And for those looking to toast to Mom, our bars will be offering up a selection of beverages for purchase to complement the festivities, including sparkling Mom-mosas!

Extend your trip and make your way to our new Trailhead Store and treat Mom to a delightful glass of wine or indulge in a refreshing Mom-mosa. Relax and unwind with the charming ambiance of our screened porch while savoring the moment with your loved ones. Plus, you can satisfy your appetite with mouthwatering hotdogs available for purchase from Bunn’s Hotdogs.

*Free Plant Disclaimer:

1. Limitations: One plant per mother that is a Garden Member.
2. Membership Requirement: Mothers must be a Garden Member to receive the plant. Membership is available for purchase on our website or at the Front Desk, Tuesdays through Sundays, 10 am – 4 pm. 3. Availability: Plants are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No plants will be held.
4. Redemption Process: Garden Members will receive a ticket from the Front Desk when they check in and can redeem it in the Garden Store. Members must show their Membership Card or have their ID to be verified in our system.
5. Responsibility: Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is not responsible for lost redemption tickets, damaged plants, or misplaced plants.
6. Event Atmosphere: This is a fun way to celebrate Mom, so we ask that all attending help us to keep a fun and kind environment!
