Spring Celebration Weekend

Get into nature during our Spring Celebration Weekend at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden!

Join us for a weekend of spring beauty at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden! On March 30th and March 31st, immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and enjoy a range of activities for the whole family, meant to enhance your visit and encourage you to delight in the natural beauty of the Garden. Visit our exhibit, WINGS, to learn more about the winged friends that are seen more and more at the Garden as the temperatures warm, and get inspired to do your part at home this spring to help them thrive in our region.

Saturday, March 30:

• Zoom and Bloom Run: Lace up your running shoes and join us for the Zoom and Bloom Run!
• Fun for the Family: Get in on the fun with lawn games that will be set out by our Levine Pavilion.
• Fuel for your Fun: Get delicious treats at the Levine Pavilion from the “Little Taste of Chicago” food truck, and cool off with refreshing scoops from “Junior’s Scoops” to help keep your stomach happy while you peruse the perennials in bloom. The bar at Levine will be open and serving up drinks to quench your thirst!
• Coloring Sheets: Unleash your creativity with coloring sheets available at Levine Pavilion.
• Seed Planting at OC Patio: Get your hands dirty and plant seeds from 12 pm to 2 pm at the OC Patio (weather permitting).
• Egg Scavenger Hunt: Embark on an “eggcellent” scavenger hunt! Use your provided sheet to mark down all of the painted eggs you see hidden throughout the Garden and choose your prize from the treat box. (Please leave the eggs where you see them for others to participate and find!)
• Spring Membership Sale: Don’t miss out on our exclusive membership sale! Upgrade or purchase a new membership to receive an additional 3 months.
• Garden Store Sale: Enjoy up to 30% off on select items at the Garden Store and treat yourself to a little something!

Sunday, March 31:

• Continued Spring Celebration: The festivities continue on Sunday with more lawn games, food from “Nacho Business” and “Junior’s Scoops”, as well as refreshing drinks – the bar at Levine will be open and working to quench your thirst!
• Coloring Sheets: Unleash your creativity with coloring sheets available at Levine Pavilion.
• Seed Planting at OC Patio: Get your hands dirty and plant seeds from 12 pm to 2 pm at the OC Patio (weather permitting).
