Kick seasonal depression in the rear end with the first ever Zoom & Bloom 5K and Kids Sprint at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden!

5K participants can run through the neon green of early spring blooms on our new and improved trail system with lakefront views and the most picturesque start and finish line around at our new Trailhead and Pond Trail.

Kids Sprint participants will get to be the first ever people to race on our brand-new pond loop!  Kids will go all out for a quarter mile sprint around an 8-foot-wide crushed concrete loop.  The best part?!?!  The entire loop is visible from the Trailhead Store so parents can give the lil’ squirts a little freedom and cheer them on the entire time if they choose!

Hang out at our new Trailhead Store before and after the race to enjoy firepits, coffee, hydration, local beer, wine, and live music.  Once you’ve cooled down and rehydrated with new friends, racers can enjoy free entry to the Garden to check out Spring Exhibit: “Wings” and the small pops of color with our early spring blooms!

Custom awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers 14 and under thru 60 and better in five-year age increments.
